Zachary Siler grew up in upstate Michigan and is pursuing a degree in Composition at the Baldwin-Wallace
Conservatory of Music. His work at the conservatory includes serving as student conductor of both College
and Motet Choirs, featuring a concert he conducted on Cleveland's Classical radio station, WCLV, and has
also premiered several of his own compositions at the conservatory. Mr. Siler has worked with a myriad of
private teachers including a mentorship under Dr. Dirk Garner, director of Choral Studies at the
conservatory, composition with Dr. Loris Chobanian, Mandy Fang, and Dr. Jennifer Conner, voice with
Sophie Ginn-Pastor and Mr. Boyd Mackus, and conducting/general music with Maestro Dwight Oltman and
David Gooding. Mr. Siler's work expands beyond the Conservatory including work with countless choral and
instrumental ensembles in the Midwest. Mr. Siler has conducted/music directed the Ohio premier of Too
Many Sopranos, and assistant conducted the Ohio premier of Our Town. Mr. Siler is currently assistant
conductor of Kol Rina (Cleveland's Jewish Chorus), director of choirs at the First Presbyterian Church of
Willoughby, choir director at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple, and has appea
